Our Staff
Eric Brown, CMFC, has worked with Waddell & Reed since 1992. He joined Waddell & Reed after receiving his BS in Economics from Portland State University. Prior to joining Waddell & Reed, he worked in the insurance industry for 7 years and for the US Army Corps of Engineers. In 1997, he became the Portland Division's District Manager. He continues to work with clients in an effort to help them reach their goals. In 2003, he moved to San Diego to train, mentor and assist Waddell & Reed financial advisors and act as a manager. Today, while serving clients and advisors, he volunteers on the Board of the Greater San Diego Business Association and also participates in various volunteer capacities.
 Brian worked for several years as a development and test engineer with a large automotive firm- then switched gears to come to California to work for several years at a high tech startup. Merging the experiences of a start-up, and working with people on a analytical basis, he became a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones. Brian cut his financial business building teeth working for two years before joined Waddell & Reed. He made the move because he wanted to work in a team environment, and help his clients with his real passion, which is comprehensive financial planning.
Harlan Dunn has worked for Waddell & Reed since 1992. He received a Business Administration degree in Management from California State University, Long Beach in 1975. Harlan then worked for two companies before joining Waddell & Reed. Harlan has been very active in his community of Vista in North County. He is the past President of his Kiwanis club, Rancho Buena Vista Little League, two Homeowner's Association and was Chairman of the Vista Chamber of Commerce. He was also past Treasurer of the Vista Boy’s and Girl’s Club Foundation and is currently on the board of the Vista Chamber of Commerce.
